Sweet Victory Farm is located in Alvin,IL in the middle of farm country. We have one of the earliest established herds of Boers in IL--we have been breeding Boers since the 1990's. We would like to invite you to meet our Boer goats.  We love them and work with them daily.  We may have as many as 150 head at one time, but usually manage about 50-70 breeding does and a few good bucks.  Our does are on an accelerated kidding program and are expected to perform whether they are just  brood does or  brood/show does.  We raise traditional colored Boers as well as red /paint Boers.  Our goal for the future is to produce quality Boer stock that will show well and will produce even better.  Longevity is also of utmost importance--we like for you to see several generations of our animals when you visit us.  We only add new animals as herd improvements. Each animal is carefully selected for how it will positively influence the herd.
For over twenty-five years it has been a family understanding that stock is fed and checked on daily. We consider good nutrition to be a cornerstone in a successful goat breeding operation. Our feed is specially formulated for our herd by Cissna Park Co-op thru Spring Briar and Hubbard Feeds. From our percentage Boers to our fullbloods, we have assembled a strong and solid herd. Our does are raised with mass and reproductive performance in mind.  While we want good milkers and multiple births, we will not give up structural correctness to get there. Come by and see our future which can be your future too!

Hot Socks is still Hot!!

Sweet Victory Hot Socks is still turning heads this year--she was 1st and 2nd place % doeling at the two day Fairfield IL ABGA show early this summer.  She was also named Champion Home Bred/Raised % Doe on Day 1.

Recently at the Great Lakes Boer Show in Manitowoc, WI she was named: 1st in class, Champion % Yearling, and Reserve Grand Champion % Doe.  Again Sweet Victory Hot Socks was named Champion Home Bred/Raised % Doe.

This doe exemplifies what we strive for daily--generations of our selection and breeding, quality, elegance, consistency, correct structure and conformation.  We invite you to meet Hot Socks for yourself at the next show--careful though--she's been known to "knock your socks off!"

Rowdy Mountains Renaissance has been catching a look or two--he was Reserve Champion Yearling FB Buck at the WI Great Lakes Boer Show.  Ren has passed his first inspection for Ennoblement.  We invite you to admire his first kid crop--his pretty baby daughters will be at the shows.

"Performance and Production"
Take a look at Fireball enjoying the pasture after weaning a set of triplets.  No big deal right?  Fireball's litterweight at weaning was 152 lbs !!!  Now that is performance that is a big deal!

More about Sweet Victory Farm on our Thank You page.

We invite you to evaluate our Boer goats.  We have been      breeding Boer goats for 10 years now and have incorporated the best genetics from highly reputable breeders.  We believe that the goat should sell the goat—not papers or ribbons or a face or shiny belt buckle.  Our selection process has always been based on the South African standard for the Boer goat.

    We select for:

  • production including natural estrus, motherablility/milking ability, growth rates, and fertility
  • sound feet and legs
  • straight tops
  • good pigment
  • good teat structure
  • sound mouths
  • longevity

If you want goats with ennoblements in their pedigrees, we have those for you too.

If you want goats with color, we have selected for that too.  We have found the variety of colored goats appeals to us though the SA did not select for color initially.

Please enjoy your visit to our small farm in Illinois where we are proud of the history of the South African Boer goat and are in continued pursuit of the “perfect” Boer goat for the future.

Great show quality and herd animals for sale at all times!!!
